Yesterday, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) established criteria for the payment of indemnity allowances—commonly referred to as “perks”—to judges and members of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Certain indemnity payments were authorized up to a limit of 35% of the constitutional salary cap, which corresponds to the compensation of the Court’s justices.
