The Supreme Federal Court (STF) published on Monday night, November 17, the decision that denied the appeals of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and six other convicts from the crucial core of the coup plot. With the publication of the judgment, the deadline opens for the defenses to file new appeals such as motions for clarification, within five days. Today the House may vote on the Anti-Gang Bill (PL 5.582/2025). The president of the House, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), stated that the bill should not have its vote postponed again. Regarding the Sentencing Bill (PL 2162/2023), which is a key issue for the opposition, Motta said the topic will be discussed again. The rapporteur, Congressman Paulinho da Força (Solidariedade-SP), is finalizing his report so that it can be discussed in the leaders' meeting.
