Today, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) resumes adjudication of the so-called “time frame” case, which limits the demarcation of indigenous lands to those occupied or claimed on October 5, 1988—the date of promulgation of the Federal Constitution. The score is currently 5-2 against the limitations imposed by the time frame. Yesterday, in a meeting with President Joe Biden, in the United States, Lula included the labor issue on the agenda. He spoke about the precariousness of work relationships. During his campaign, Lula mentioned the possibility of reversing the labor reform approved during Michel Temer's administration. Yesterday, the Central Bank reduced the basic interest rate to 12.75%, as expected.
