The government had an important victory in the Senate by guaranteeing the approval of the Tax Reform proposal in two rounds. The score was tight, with just 4 votes more than the minimum required, at 53 votes in favor and 24 against. Yesterday, November 8, Haddad met with Lira and party leaders from the House to discuss the ICMS subsidy. There was progress in the negotiations. Today, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) resumes the analysis of the Direct Act of Unconstitutionality (ADI) of laws that provide for the correction of deposits in accounts linked to the FGTS at the reference rate (TR). The rapporteur is the president of the STF, Luís Roberto Barroso.
