The probability is for Transition Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) to be valid for less than four years and provide less than R$150 billion, as proposed by the PT. In Congress, the preference is for a value of up to R$100 billion for just one year. For the proposal to be enacted by December 15, it must be approved by the Senate later this week and sent to the House. On Tuesday, November 29, the Joint Budget Committee will hold a public hearing on the 2023 budget proposal with the economic team of the current government. On November 30, the technical groups of the Transition Team will present the first sectoral reports. There are 31 technical groups in the transitional team. A final report is expected for publication on December 11.
