Lula (PT) will have the longest time: 3 minutes and 39 seconds plus 286 30-second ads. President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) will be entitled to 2 minutes and 38 seconds and 207 ads. Lula said that the main Brazilian public companies will not be privatized. He cited Petrobras, Banco do Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal, Correios and the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES). Bolsonaro said that the claim that he intends to carry out a coup is a lie. He also said that the dollar will fall below 5 reais and that he expects the price of gasoline to continue to fall. Candidates will give interviews to Jornal Nacional from Monday to Friday, with the exception of Wednesday. The first to be interviewed, on Monday, will be President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
