In the Senate, there is a conflict over the installation of Parliamentary Committees of Inquiry (CPIs). The opposition is trying to collect the necessary signatures to install a CPI to investigate the alleged irregularities in the Ministry of Education (MEC), and government allies have filed a request to install a CPI to investigate unfinished educational projects during the PT governments. In relation to public spending, deputies want to approve a new Refis for companies. Senators want to increase the value of the Auxílio Brasil payments from R$ 400 to R$ 600, and public servants are pressing for salary raises.
