The vote on the bill dealing with the taxation of offshore companies and exclusive funds was postponed. The postponement is due more to specific complaints about the text than the overall content of the text, which is expected to be approved by the House in October. Yesterday, October 4, the government had an important victory. A complementary bill was approved that compensates for the loss of revenue in states due to the reduction in the ICMS tax rate on fuels last year. Also yesterday, the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) approved a Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) that limits unilateral decisions and regulates requests for review in higher courts.
