The postponement request on the Fake News Bill was made by the rapporteur, Deputy Orlando Silva (PCdoB), and by several party, government and opposition leaders. There is no date set for the vote. If it doesn't take place next week, it should be put to a vote on the week of May 22, since the new fiscal framework should be put to a vote on the week of May 15. Today, the Monetary Policy Committee (Copom) of the Central Bank will decide on the basic interest rate (Selic), currently at 13.75% per year. Also today, several ministers will go to the House to participate in public hearings. They will all talk about the priorities of their respective ministries.
