The vote on the fuel bills was postponed to today. The Amazon caucus asked for changes to be made to the decree that reduced the IPI to avoid damaging the Manaus Free Trade Zone, and the inclusion of a gasoline voucher for app drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers in PLP 11 was also discussed. The approval of PLP 11 is likely, but PL 1472 still faces resistance. With a total of 6 votes, the PDT lost its case at the STF that would allow those convicted according to the Clean Record Law to deduct the time spent serving a sentence from their period of ineligibility. The president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco, announced that he will not run for the presidency of the Republic — going against the wishes of the president of his party, Gilberto Kassab. Pressure has increased for Eduardo Leite to join the PSD to run for president.
