This will be a slow week, with no activity in Congress. The mood in the Senate regarding Tax Reform is positive. In the Senate, the Constitutional Amendment Proposal (PEC) on Tax Reform will be analyzed by the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) before being put to a vote in the plenary. The goal is to complete the analysis of the text by the end of October. The House approved the bill (PL) that deals with the return of the tie-breaking vote in the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals (CARF). The government's goal is to approve it before the Senate's deadline in August.
