This is the last week of the municipal election campaign period before the first round, which will take place next Sunday. The campaign period ends on Thursday (October 3). On October 8, according to Senate President Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), the Senate floor will analyze Gabriel Galípolo's appointment to the presidency of the Central Bank (BC). His confirmation hearing in the Economic Affairs Committee is expected to take place on the same day. In the Lower House, the priority will be finalizing the second Tax Reform regulation bill, which deals with the Managing Committee (PLP No. 108/24). Seven amendments still need to be analyzed.
