Today is the final day for campaign advertising for the second-round municipal elections. Additionally, the last debate, hosted by TV Globo, will take place tonight between the mayoral candidates in the runoff. The election is set for Sunday, October 27. Another topic that may progress next week is the agreement among the three branches of government on parliamentary fund transfers. Senator Angelo Coronel is expected to introduce a complementary bill on Monday, October 28, regarding this issue. Additionally, the succession in Congress is expected to gain traction. There is considerable anticipation around Arthur Lira’s formal endorsement of Hugo Motta’s (Republicanos-PB) candidacy.
