Ukraine denies trying to kill Putin

On May 3 Russia said that an overnight drone attack on the Kremlin was a bid to kill their president. Russia said it took down the drones and released a photo of an explosion above the Kremlin but said no one was injured. Zelensky on a trip to Finland took the unusual step of denying the attack. Ukraine usually does not comment on allegations of attacks inside Russia. Russia said it was a terrorist attack and it might retaliate. Ukrainian officials say the attack might have been carried out by Russian dissidents. The US said it did not know who carried out the attack. Putin's spokesman said the Victory Day Parade on May 9 will take place as usual, and foreign guests will be there.
