Ukraine withdrawing from Severodonetsk

On June 24 Kyiv announced that its soldiers shall pull out of Severodonetsk. The casualties from Russian bombardment are just too heavy. The city has been under assault for 5 weeks. When the Ukrainian retreat is complete the Russians will still have trouble advancing. The Russians still need to cross a river. On June 25 in Kherson a Russian-appointed official was killed by a car bomb. It seems that the Ukrainians targeted the man. Kyiv described him as a traitor. Russia is recruiting teachers and construction workers to go to Russian-occupied Ukraine. They are being offered 9 times the average Russian salary. This indicates that Russia intends to stay long term. So many Ukrainians have fled to the Russian controlled areas that Russia is obliged to seek workers from Russia to move to these areas.
