USA, UK and Canada allege Russia hack COVID-19 research

On July 17 three major Western countries claimed that Russia had attempted to steal their studies on coronavirus vaccine. They claimed that APT29 is connected to the SVR (Russian external intelligence agency). Russia is working frenetically on a coronavirus vaccine. The allegation is that Russian hackers broke into the computer system of think tanks and medical research organizations. Russia has been accused by Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Georgia of cyber hacking over the past few years.On July 16 the United Kingdom claimed that Russia almost definitely tried to disrupt the UK's 2019 election.
