Vice President-elect Geraldo Alckmin gave an interview saying that the future government will cut expenses that can be cut. He spoke in favor of reviewing contracts – all of them – to find resources. He also placed Tax Reform as a central issue for the new government. Davi Alcolumbre, who was previously president of the Senate and supported Rodrigo Pacheco, has been positioning himself to return as head of the Senate. The race between him and Pacheco may also have repercussions on the analysis of the Transition PEC. Lula will arrive in Brazil this weekend after his trip to Egypt, during which he participated in the Climate Conference. Expectations are high regarding his ministerial team.
