The government intensifies efforts to approve Pension Reform by the week of December 12. On Wednesday night, December 6, President Temer will meet with leaders of allied parties to discuss the reform. The same day, the PSDB, which is divided on the issue, will discuss a possible party-line vote. On Saturday, December 9, the party is expected to elect Governor Geraldo Alckmin as party president. Former President Lula (PT) will embark on his third road trip, this time through Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo. In the economy, we highlight the final Central Bank meeting of the year to set the benchmark interest rate.
