Expectations surround the Federal Supreme Court decision on the habeas corpus filed by former President Lula. The arrest of individuals close to Michel Temer will have repercussions in Congress. Several members of the Executive will leave their positions to run in the October elections. The deadline to switch parties ahead of the election is April 7. On Tuesday, Finance Minister Henrique Meirelles joins the MDB. Former STF Minister Joaquim Barbosa joins the PSB, but without any guarantee that he will be the party’s presidential candidate.
