Yatsenyuk refuses to be acting Prime Minister, Volodymyr Groysman takes the lead

According to the law the Cabinet after resignation continues its work as acting Cabinet till the moment the parliament approves the decision and appoints new Prime Minister. Under current circumstances Arseniy Yatsenyuk refused to continue his work and Volodymyr Groysman, Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Policy, was appointed as acting Prime Minister. What we know about Volodymyr Groysman? He was a successful Mayor of Vinnytsia (local town at the central Ukraine) and he is a close ally of President Poroshenko. We do not know whether the combination with Yatsenyuk resignation was intentionally created or just was an accident after failed budget laws. But the result is that Poroshenko managed to create his personal vertical of power which is not bad in our situation. Let’s see what will happen with the budget changes and the IMF cooperation.
