Zelenskiy nominated ‘flexible’ Head of the NBU

President Zelenskiy nominated Kyryl Shevchenko, the Head of state-owned bank Ukrgazbank for the position of the Head of the NBU according to Verkhovna Rada web-site. Mr. Shevchenko is the person who will be very sensitive to the requests of the President Office. Most likely there will be a pause in replacements at the Board of the NBU to let the dust settle. But if Shevchenko does not find enough support at the Board for his monetary easing actions, we will see more new faces at the top level of the NBU.
