Zelensky attends UK Cabinet

On July 18 Zelensky arrived in the United Kingdom for the European Political Community Summit. The EPC was founded in 2022 just after the Ukraine War began. This is the 4th ever meeting of the EPC. The EPC includes all European countries from Iceland to Turkey, except Russia and Belarus. Zelensky addressed the summit. He castigated Hungary's PM for visiting Russia. The summit was held in Churchill's birthplace of Blenheim Palace. Zelensky invoked Churchill's spirit.  The United Kingdom pledged to support Ukraine with military aid for as long as it takes. Some are skeptical. The Conservative Government that lost office on July 5 had vowed to increase defense spending from 2% of GDP to 2.5% by 2029. The Labor Government says it will reach this but has set no time limit. Zelensky became the second foreign leader to attend a British Cabinet meeting. The only other one was Bill Clinton.
