On September 22 the Ukrainian President went on an unannounced visit to Ottawa. He was recently in New York for the UN General Assembly. He will address the Canadian Parliament. Canada has provided over USD 6 billion worth of arms since 2022. This is a lot considering Canada's 33 million population. Its military is training Ukrainians, too. Canada has the largest population of Ukrainian descent of any Western country. Canadian support may become all the more important as the US and Eastern Europe might reduce aid to Ukraine.
