Zelensky visits Holland

On August 20 Zelensky was in the Netherlands to thank the Dutch for the F16 fighter jets they are gifting to Ukraine. The planes will probably not arrive by the end of 2023. 11 European nations are training Ukrainians on F16s. Only the Netherlands and Denmark have pledged to donate F16s. The planes are US made, and American permission was required for the transfer to be made. Zelensky met the Dutch Prime Minister. On August 19 Zelensky was in Sweden. He discussed a plane to produce Swedish-designed CV90 armored vehicles in Ukraine. Ukrainian pilots are being trained on jets in Sweden. Russia said it will regard the F16s as a nuclear threat because they can carry nuclear missiles.
